About the event

Lalo Murua is an interdisciplinary visual artist currently focused on drawing and painting together with audiovisual production. His inspiration is the i DENTITY of Mexico. Born in Querétaro, Mexico in 1984, he graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Autonomous University of Querétaro where he studied the Bachelor of Visual Arts (2003-2007). He began his formal production of plastic arts in 2006 and in 2008 he founded and directs his own cultural project, in force to this day. In 2012 he directs his career graph to the visual arts and in 2015 is selected by ASTURMEX to produce the documentary "Between mountains" which is filmed in Asturias, Spain.

In 2016 co - produced the documentary "El Tepe" along with artist Antonio Castaneda Ortiz and the same year is displayed as a multidisciplinary exhibition graphics, painting, installation and audiovisual in the City Museum of the City of Queretaro.

In 2017, it is a creditor of a municipal resource for the execution of the documentary interdisciplinary project "I callus I'm out gallo" where converged photography, graphics, and visual arts.

In 2020 ends the Diploma in Contemporary Art taught by Dr. Xxx La Mora and the same year is invited to exhibit his paintings at the Center for Arts Bernardo Quintana, Queretaro. Recently completed collections titled Insignificant efforts and stones and sticks, working with visual poetry and photography.
