Huazzteco was born in 2004 under the initiative and direction of the pianist and composer from Potosí Samuel Martínez Herrera, who infused as the essence of this group the integration of the colors and sounds of the Mexican son with the language of jazz and Latin American music, mainly. It has three record productions: Huazzteco (2006), Xilitla (2010) and Yankuilistli (2012). On this occasion, Israel Cupich will perform on double bass, Vladimir Coronel on drums, Lucía Gutiérrez on voice and Samuel Martínez Herrera on piano.
