About the event
Our Vision project is a contemporary jazz duo founded in 2017 by the masters Alejandro Cuenca Calderón from Cuba on piano and maestro Oscar Salazar on percussion from Mexico, the duet seeks the union of the purest and most authentic of the Both African and pre-Hispanic roots, unifying them in a single language through improvisation from a novel vision, as a result of this work, in January 2017, the first CD Visiones y Trends recorded in the PIRANIMAL RECORDS studios, a session of improvisation on anthological themes by Cuban composers of the 19th and 20th centuries, currently they are in the preparation of 2nd record material based on themes of pre-Hispanic culture.
